Departing at 8 am. The driver will take the motor-way, passing thousands of Morocco-specific argane trees on the way to this blue and white, sea-side town and port. Essaouira is loved by tourists. Previously known as Mogador, it is a charming place with local handicrafts, especially thuja wood furniture, carvings, small artefacts, sold in the many shops along the windy streets.

We head northwards continuing to follow the road to the Ait Baha river and the town of the same name.
